Banned users question

I have dealt with a few users with no problems but something is puzzling me. Sometimes I will notice that links on the same site are been offered by people with different usernames. When i double check, sometimes the old username is listed as "banned" and sometimes it is not banned.

What I want to know is:

1, Why are these people banned?
2, Why do they have 2 accounts if they are not banned?
3, Should this put me off trading with them?

 

There are some spammers here in DP which uses duplicate account to sale link.if mods finds them, they generally banned them.. that why you see banned in their profile.

1. As I said they are banned as they uses duplicate or two account which is against rules.
2. Some people think they are very smart and creating two accounts but sooner or later they will be caught and get banned.
3. Yes I recommend you to avoid trade with people who are banned if they have good itrade.

I still don't understand why they would have 2 accounts. They make a sale in the sell forum and get itrader feedback and all is good. No rules broken. What use is having 2 accounts?

 

if you suspect someone is using duplicate accounts, use the report post button and explain why you think a specific user is a duplicate account. we'll investigate and take action if necessary.

Just checked out that post, that is a fantastic link. I agree totally, it makes it so much harder to trust people. thanks for that.
