banned site and an unbanned pointer

A few months ago my flawebworks site got banned (I have 2 subdomains, and they are banned as well). I fixed what I thought was wrong, request reinclusion. I never received a response from Google. Since the site does reasonably well with msn and yahoo, I didn't notice any huge traffic change. I also have a pointer to this site - it is a 301 redirect, and at the time, it had no pr, no links but it was not banned.

I check the normal flawebworks site periodically. It still appears to be banned - using mcdars tool. I checked the pointer tonight for a giggle, and while it has no backlinks, it is now showing a pr 5 - which is the what the pr was when the original site was banned.

    What should I do?
Should I switch the 2 sites, make the original site the pointer and the pointer site the real site?

Or, should I contact google and request reinclusion for the real site?

    wwdp do?

I'm in a real quandry. I was surprised to see the pointer at a pr 5.
