I have just recently taken over a Network Hardware site and during my first day found that MSN had completely removed the domain from its index. The site seems to be doing well in Google. I'm not sure what has happened. The site was in MSN and was getting traffic a few months ago according to the weblogs. the domain is teksavers dot com I know that folks don't like to post their domains but I need some help. I appreciate any I can get. -J
Hi semfreak Iam also facing a very similar problem. My site is based in the UK and apart from the home page the entire site has been deindexed. My site was doing pretty well in the MSN SERPs as well. Can anyone suggest to me a checklist to try and identify the problem? thanks Robin
Rarely does MSN actually deindex sites. Thats rather worrying. Try contacting there support team. Because if they deindex you its going to take a long time before they index you again. Google do it a lot more than MSN though.
I am having similar issues. On one of the servers, none of the sites are getting crawled by MSNBOT. Its fine on the other servers, but I can not move the sites. Is there any way to get MSNbot crawl my sites on this particular server? Is it IP related?
The only way i can see a site getting de-indexed for IP related offences. Is if you run a network of sites and link between them. And the network has to be large. I doubt what your actually saying has happened. Is there some way you can get in touch with msn and ask?
