I was banned from adsense about 2 weeks ago for "posing a risk of invalid activity". They told me they were keeping my earnings etc. The same day I was also notified by google affiliate network telling me they couldnt link my two accounts together cause my google adsense account was banned. I dont really remember applying for them to be linked but whatever I probably just forgot. Well anyway now today about three weeks later I got a email from google affiliate network telling me I was approved to have my payments linked with my adsense account. I got very curious why if I was banned from google adsense would they do this? SO I went and tried one of my old google adsense codes on my site and low and behold it works again. And when I looked into my account payment history it shows that my payment is still due to be sent. I am confused and not sure what to think. After I was banned from adsense I thought I took down all my adsense ads but I must have left one of them up somewhere and it started getting clicks again this morning.. So it would appear that google unbanned me and activated my ads, either by accident or on purpose but either way they never notified me of this. Also, I should mention that I never appealed my banning. Has anyone had similar experience or knows what may have happened? I dont want to send an email asking what happened for fear they'll ban me again.
Now that's really strange. wait and see if they send you the payment before do anything. if they do then you can put code in account and see if you get clicks.
I heard in the street that Google set filters to monitor each ad sense account for click frauds. Some times these filters get triggered and will notify you with the email as foresaid in the story. One of my friends got his account back once they confirmed that the clicks are legitimate. It took three weeks and he had a series of email with ad sense to get his account activated.
This is a good story that indeed Google does give people second chance if the clicks are infact valid. Great job working it out with adsense.
I had the exact same experience around the same time too. My Adsense just kicked back on 3 days ago. Also, I received the same emails from google. It's good to see someone else get a second chance. The only difference was that I did appeal , they still said no then 3 weeks later I'm Baaaack. So I am thank and hope never to get banned By google again.
