Its worth the risk for the traffic and sales it brings. Just make a throwaway account that you wont miss when it gets banned. And dont use tinyurl!!! Those things always look shady. Just create a subdomain redirect if you have to.
Isn't it better to do the same here or at some other forum, and so you can put links in your signature. There it is.
It happened to my 3 accounts of over 10,000 points! Just get a new one and...hope it will stay for a while
Well actually yahoo doesnt like source websites other then itself mention if you have more than 10 answers with links. it s likely yahoo will ban it and you account too
The chance to get banned fro yahoo answer is too high, even it's a great way to generate traffic to your web sites., I don't recommend it. It's a short time one. Now most of yahoo answer fans are reporting links. So skip yahoo answer to promote anything. be honest!
I've been using YA for half a year and 80% of the time I leave a link to my website but I don't answer more than 10 questions a week and I've never been suspended. I got a warning from them though about one of my answers... I did it as a joke, as some teenager asked how to make extra money and I suggested him to become a porn star (I know that a good joke) and I agree with yahoo warning... besides that I've never ever had a problem with them
Thats not a new case with yahoo. I got my 3 accounts banned . Its good that you can always start again by making new one.
Yahoo Answer is of no use, the system have become outdated. No promotion on it will work out ! Even its traffic has more bounce rate though providing best content for visitors.
Actually yahoo answer is giving low quality traffic, Most of are idiots who asking ABC question. So no use with them ;p
I thought Top contributors won't be banned in yahoo answers. What do you think had happened with your account? Was it reported abuse by some of the answerers? Level 7 is a big achievement. I am just level 2 but was banned with no reasons also. and that's the reason why i stopped participating their service.
