It lasted less than 24h haha, it was fun. Too bad my account got suspended. Probably because I promoted my affiliate links (tinyurled). Is there a way for me to register again?
why u want to register again? spam again and get banned again come on man..work on your site..if you provide quality service you will have sales automatically
Well the thing is I didn't spam at all. I really tried to post the best answer by writing long quality posts. All I did was include a link or two (always related to the topic) and that got me banned. I also watch others do it successfully without getting banned and I wonder why. I want to register again because I want to see if I can make some money with Yahoo Answers.
Do you suggest I use nikcname.hop.clickbank.com? How is that different, it's still an affiliate link?
To be honest, I didn't read their Terms and Conditions because I don't spam so I felt like there's no need to do that but affiliate links can't be forbidden because I've seen people promoting their referrals. So what's the deal? Can anyone suggest how to promote affiliate links and not get banned?
I was the one of the top answerer and top contributor in three of the categories( Level 7) and was banned without giving any reason. I appealed them and emailed that I was working in accordance with the yahoos answers guidelines and have contributed for the last two years. They refused to reinstate my account. So without wasting time more I made a new account. Like Google I think that Yahoo has made changes in its algorithm and posting more links of the same website becomes the reason of account ban .They have changed this from July. Tehmina
Your wasting you time dude, there is no shortcut for success in affiliate business. promote your website, rather than spaming around.
You have to answer asker's question with related content and related URLs only. You cannot just put a URL link or links in your answer. Please read the Yahoo Answers Community Guidelines, you will learn more. By the way, just use other email account to register again. They will accept you. Good Luck!
Too many links and people reporting you makes its far to easy for a 'spam flag' to pop up. If you re-register, they have probably already flagged the sites you link out to, so it’s going to be even harder work. Try other sites before even thinking of going back to yahoo answers
I think it is good to answer in DP forums if you're expertise in certain area, however you can try out answerbag.com, it looks one of alternative.
Thanks for your answers. I didn't SPAM because I always posted different links related to the topic but it seems that they don't like referrals at Yahoo Answers. I registered again because I want to see if I can make some money with it. Thanks.
Answering in yahoo answers definately gets you traffic but it is only short term measure ( only until your account get banned). Cause it only takes one or two complaints to get your account banned and they dont even spare the top contributors so a new account advertising in yahoo answers is not going to last long.
Why don't you start a simple blog, write a few articles every week and place your affiliate links. After some time your blog will gain trust in Google and will start ranking high for some long tail keywords and you will make money without being afraid of someone getting you banned.
