this will probably reflect quite badly on me however its not really as it looks/sounds. Basically i got banned from a website for apparantly ripping people off which i didnt however i didnt read the T&Cs properly and so yes i did something wrong but i didnt rip anyone off. I spoke to the owner of the site who said he understood what had happened and agreed it was a misunderstanding however the only person that could reinstate me was the admin who blocked me as he didnt want to udermime the work his admins were doing which is fair enough however the admin is very awkward and wouldnt. SO my question is if im blocked from a VB site is it blocked through my internet provider or is it blockd through the number thats put on your modem? Basically what im wanting to know is, am i blocked throgh my computer or my ISP? as i have just got a new laptop and so could probablytry to register again or is it done through my ISP? in which case im moving in a month anyway so do i wait a month when they have no chance or linking a new account with the old 1 or could i do it now?
Let me guess its namepros??? and SecondVersion blocked you and -RJ- said he understands and SecondVersion is stubborn and doesnt want to let you back in?
If it's a vBulletin forum then you're banned on the site only using your username but if you sign up a second time you IP will be visible and if the admins notice they'll be cross and ban you all over again. Bans may be permanent, but may only be for a day or two. Check out the length of the ban. There are plenty of forums out there. Move on to greener pastures and learn from your mistakes.
Have you tried clearing your cookies? And if your using dialup service you can acquire different IP each and everytime you connect to your ISP. Then signup for a new account.
