LOL They can ban you before paying you but they get the adwords payment on the spot. Nice.

Google staff would be a lot busier if they checked all accounts under $100.
At $100 there is more of a history click than if an account is at $20 and it's easier to spot fraud and trends. It's harder to detect fraud if the account only has a few clicks.

Not on the spot - they get the Adwords payment at the end of the month. If they ban you for invalid clicks they don't bill the advertiser for those clicks.

i dunno . .. cause i don't have any tracker and also if i have .. i don't have all those times monitoring who is clicking or not clicking...

Maybe only mine $100 isn't much for the big G .. but there are sooo many publishers ... and so every $100 counts ...

i think Google themselves should be providing this ... especially for the small publishers like me

GOOGLE SHOULD AT LEAST PAY US FOR THE VALID CLICKS !!!!

There are too many instances of Google Adsense abuse. One instance is people creating click bots to generate clicks on adsense automatically. Another instance is click farms.

Due to these various ways of abuse of Adsense, Google has become extremely good at detecting click fraud.

Anyone of the examples above are considered invalid clicks. When you have too many of them, Google returns the money you earned to the advertisers, and banned your account.

    Im so sorry for you...

Google is holding us by a silver thread and can let it go any time they want..
To be baned is everyones worst dream.. Its very scary at times indeed..

Perhaps take the others advice and send them an appeal some times they do reinstate but mostly not but they just might if you try and make your apppeal sound convincing and mabye give reasons why you had invlaid clicks and explain how it wasnt your fault and ask them .. You never know..

Im also thinking of trying other ppc mediums just for back up incase it happens to me one day..

    Good luck friend..

They won't take the earned money, but instead they will refund it to the advertisers.

Did you participate in some bad ad networks? For cheap traffic? You would definitely get banned then.

Started with adsense 6 months ago and have gotten a check every month. To avoid being banned for invalid clicks I avoid advertising my websites to my friends and family :D

Yeah it sucks to lose your account. I make every attempt to comply with their terms. I've even emailed them to have them review my sites for compliance. Which they did BTW.

I've tried many different ways to make money from my site, but adsense seems like the only one that works well.

I only wish that Adsense would give you a heads up... Just a warning email or anything to say that they've noticed a high percentage of invalid clicks.

I'm more than willing to block an entire IP range (if needed) if I'm getting invalid clicks from a given area.

I doubt it, but it would be fair to take your valid clicks subtract your invalid clicks and give you the difference.

what would cause google to ban a site after seeing it besides the obvious reasons?

They usually ban when you are about to receive the money.
    Google is getting mean.
