    Hi,

Yesterday I tried to set up a new ad campaign on Facebook but after waiting for approval for a couple of hours I recieved a notificiation that my ads were approved and that my account was disabled.

Unfortunally I cant contact Facebook cause the account is disabled.

    Some Facts:

    - I used a Facebook advertisement voucher bought from one of our forum members

    - I was promoting a website called spoofcardapp dot com

    - I used the words Iphone and Blackberry in my ad, maybe copyright issues?

Anyone had simmilar issues with Facebook before?

I am a bit confused here - your ads were approved but account disabled at the same time!? Where did you set up a campaign - like a new fun page or?

Seem's like it was banned because someone that had an impression on it, made a comment, or reported it?

If Facebook was the cause of it, seems like they would of given you more information why they banned you, if it was a simple advertisement for a spoof card.

It could be a copyright problem...

It might be because of the voucher used, if they found out the voucher used wasn't obtained through legit methods (ie you paid for it) they could of banned your account, most of these $100 vouchers floating around come from the visa site and if you didn't get the voucher directly yourself this could be the reason

Read the ad network's TOS before starting your campaign.

You're only supposed to have one facebook account - they may have banned you for that. I got banned a while ago for a name change - that they had already approved. As an advertiser - who actually spends money - I screamed blue murder and they re-instated me.
Contact them through your existing account, explain the situation - i.e that you want to pay for ads - and ask about having a business account/business profile.

If your earlier account has been banned then you will not get approval for you ad. As if you have created new account successfully then make sure to follow all guidelines of using facebook to avoid further ban.

It's probably because of the voucher. I've heard of a few people getting banned because of using a voucher that they weren't suppose to be using.

    1) The blackberry/iphone thing probably had nothing to do with it because I use trademark stuff all the time with no problems.
    2) If they don't like the product you're promoting they just disapprove the ads and say it doesn't meet the guidelines.

    hence the voucher.

Unfortunatly, Facebook will never tell you why they disable an account.

Things like that happen - I had been new to the Warrior Forum and had posted throughout the day - later on I tried logging in and found that I was banned for no reason. They called it "spamming" but I wasn't being abusive with the number of posts I was putting up AND I didn't include any affiliate links or anything in any of my posts. They were quality too. I replied directly to the questions posted.

Just goes to show you how much control you really do have over these big-wig sites...
