I have had my ebay powerseller account banned for bad performance and have been told I cannot use ebay in any way. I have two other accounts all in good standing but if I use them will ebay find out and ban them as well? I really need to keep selling and I don't know what to do.
It must have been more than just bad performance that got you banned. If they trace things via IP then sure they can ban your other accounts too. A short lesson- Don't do anything illegal on ebay. You will get caught!
Ebay has the right to record all your information. even your paypal account can be restricted. so be careful.
Yup...if your'e banned it's typically due to more than just poor performance. I am also unsure if they go the trouble of tracing IP's....however as they own PayPal I also suggest you look at your PayPal account.
im Banned aswell and i made another account works fine just link it to a new paypal account nothing to worry about =) i got banned for selling world of warcraft gold and diablo 2 items.
Yes you still can use the unbanned account. But be advised that don't use the same IP that you use to login at your banned ebay account.
I take it you used the same name and address for your new account? If I open a new paypal account won't I need a new bank account to register?
I was also banned!! However they only will block your sign up ip! So jus sign up and get approved from somwehre else.. DO NOT USE PROXY TO sign Up !! They have ways to bypass that with JAVA to show real IP! go to library or somthing.
I've heard of people getting banned on all their accounts. Ebay can be pretty competitive so if you are selling the same thing and sellers know what you offered before they can report you.
To sell and buy you will need to register a new bank account from what i remember when i got banned many years ago, I changed my paypal account , bank account etc before i could use ebay again
