The issue is that you opened multiple accounts to use promo codes / vouchers and get free advertising, right? From here: "Promotional code rules If you've received a Google AdWords promotional code offered by a Google partner, remember to review the promotional information provided by the partner. Unique rules may apply to each offer, in addition to the following: * Promotional offers are meant for new AdWords advertisers. * Promotional offers are limited to one per customer. * An expiration date often applies, so keep in mind that you may only have a certain amount of time to use your credit. Often, the code is only valid for 14 days from the date your new account is created. * If you are about to sign up with a service offering you an AdWords promotional credit, be sure to confirm that the service has a relationship with Google. If you have any questions about an offer, please contact us before committing. * If you receive a promotional code from a service that you have no business relationship with, please be aware that the code may be invalid. True, but I still don't get why they don't tell an advertiser why they are banned? Seems a little unfair. Guess some things in life just ain't fair H
Probably a lot easier to not get into the details which would inevitably lead to lengthy arguments. Plus I would imagine the people that terminate accounts are not the same people answering the calls. I'm sure that's by design
WHy don't you use a friend/family member to open a new adwords account? I don't see the problem here.
thezou, if I didn't know I was doing something wrong, and I received the voucher for signing up for a new hosting plan, you can shut up. @TheGuyFromChicago: Thanks for the clarification, and yeah, I guess I did break the rules. As I understand those accounts were not in compliance, don't you think one would be able to re-instate their use of the program, especially if they are a paying member? Seems a little harsh to ban me for life for doing something as insignificant as attempting to use a $25 voucher that I received from a Google partner. Similarly, it would be nice if I could understand why I was banned, or if it was for multiple things. Now to figure out how to get a new account... What's really annoying, is the fact that they banned me for life because I used a $25 voucher, without knowing that I could. Seeing as I acquired this voucher legally (according to their terms), to only be banned for attempting to use it, disgusts me. They already banned the vouchers I attempted to use, so why not let me open a new account to PAY them for advertising? /vent off.
You won't be able to open an account with the same card, but I am not sure if you can with different one. If not, then register an account on your friend's or someone else's details and use their card
Did you have any credit in your account that they took with them? If not then id just not waste my time and make a new one :]
