Banned from AdSense?

I've been reading a lot about users getting banned from AdSense for violating whatever terms. Is it just me or is Google cracking down or are they loose on banning members, and if someone is violating the terms are they banned immediately because I heard it can sometimes take a month?

AdSense simple cheats small individual Publishers, I had the same experience. But don't give up. There are lots of other alternatives

Most bannings are done to those who did attempt to circumvent the rules. If you read all the posts on Digitalpoint -- At about page 7-8 they will finally admit they "only clicked a few times", which by reading the TOS you will realize, that is a few times too many.

Most bannings are near the end of the month when earnings are evaluated and processed by Google, which is why people who clicked their own ads think they've gotten away with it. When it comes time for Payment, google will knock you down.

    KO'd by Google

Agreed with Travis - Google makes money from publishers, so it doesn't have a whole lot of incentive to ban them at random without good reason, so when they do put the ban on, they're usually trying to protect themselves from click fraud.

Well there are millions of Adsense publishers worldwide, so even if 1% of that gets banned, that's a lot of whining being done, so it just seems like it's happening a lot because getting banned is like getting liquored up -- you now feel free to spout off at the lip about how awful Adsense is, etc.

    For example: "thilak".

Yeah, I tried to warn Jesus about putting those half-naked bikini pictures way too close to his Adsense ads. "You're gonna get ban, J," I says, but did he listen? Nooooooooooooo.

Google does not ban anyone if they strictly adhere to the rules Google has set out in the Terms & Conditions.

Okay first up! Think about things logically, there're millions of AdSense publishers, what we're seeing here on DP is the vocal minority. You don't make a thread when you're not getting banned right? It seems like a great deal but if you sum up the threads they make up an extremely tiny percentage.

Coincidentally, whenever someone gets banned they'll search Google for some way to alleviate it. All the threads in DP tend to get indexed and they'll often inadvertently stumble here... so the issue compounds itself.

Is there a contact information for Adsense support other than the online contact form? How long do they take to get back to us? I am banned because someone clicked on my ad many time. I had the account for over a year and never clicked on my own ads. What do I do to get it back?

They mostly ban you for "invalid clicks" then when you try to get an answer they don't write you back.
