Banned from adsense - what do I need to know to protect!

I am reading posts all over DP about being banned from adsense

Everyone says it they were banned as of someone else clicking like crazy on their ads!

How does one protect their site from such behavior from others?

NOT that I would ever do it, but it seems to me ( and I am new to this all ) that if I wanted to put a site out of the running, I would just go and be click happy there..... surely there is a way sites can protect themselves ?

no way to protect, it's adsense's job to know which clicks are good or not, and if they come from the webmaster or the webmaster's friends. Difficult job.

Note that there's another way to try to ban an account, it is to display ads on several porn sites or any topic not allowed by adsense. In this case adsense might contact the adsense publisher and tell him to comply with adsense policies, or ban him directly. But there's a "new" option in adsense admin which let you specify exact domain names that are allowed to display your adsense id (your domain names and also perhaps some adsense sharing sites such as digitalpoint forum or my shetoldme.com site)
that way nobody can mess with your ads by putting them on pages with dangerous content :)

if so then everyone can destroy or ban others by clicking their ads.. thats not fair.
especially if this guy thats been clicking your ad is a moron.

If you really want to get your account reinstate, the only thing that you should do is reappeal. You can try my method to appeal.
