Banned from AdSense, didn't do anything wrong (read for more info), no response...

    Hi,

Google deactivated one of my URLs a few weeks ago. When I mailed them to ask why they deactivated the URL they said that I used Internet Explorer Destroyer 3 on the URL. I didn't even knew what it was at that time (no, I'm not kidding, I really didn't use it, and web.archive.org can prove it)!

Of course I immediately replied to their mail, and they replied saying that they took advertisers very serious and that they banned my URL. Quite strange response isn't it?

I replied again and din't get any response. E-mailed again, no response (after 1+ week).

Could anyone please tell me what I can do to get the URL activated again?

    Thanks!

No one can tell you except Adsense, frankly I would suggest use multiple sources rather than use Adsense exclusively, they took advertisers seriously but seem to take publishers not so seriously especially the small ones.

    Thanks for you reply.

I made about 600$/month with adsense, growing every month, and the site has good content so it's not a one out of thousands weblog.

I already found some great alternatives, so that's not a very big problem, but I was planning to sell the site before my finals (spring 2008) and I think that the site's worth has decreased a lot with that ban....
