Banned from Adsense and have a question.

About a year ago I was banned from Adsense, being a victim of Adsense Bowling. I tried appealing many times have so far failed in getting my account reinstated. The site that got me banned was a German Adsense tip site (violates TOS), which I do not own, whose owner placed my pub number in their Adsense code, thus getting my account banned.

My question is, can I place my friends Adsense code on my sites that previously ran my Adsense code that were never in violation. Would those sites be flagged as banned since they are associated with my banned account?

Google's customer service is ****ing useless. I wouldn't be surprised if it were completely automated. The same thing happened to me here -- I got banned for "invalid clicks" on a website where I didn't even place the ad-code myself (hence Adsense bowling), and all Google responds is "After a careful review, we've determined there are invalid clicks blah blah blah Don't contact us again kthxbai."

Google DOES keep track of sites that were running adsense. If the site was banned (technically all sites running the publisher code were banned) there is a risk any other account running adsense on those accounts would also get banned. Google says if you purchase a site that was previously banned, you should wait 6 months before placing code on it. It's been more than 6 months, but I'll assume ownership hasn't changed - and as a registrar, google knows this.

I would say there is still some risk, but you would probably be ok if you transfered ownership of the domain into this persons name. JMO.

If it was simply a case of someone changing the publisher id, I'm surprised that they didn't give you a second chance.
Was it done with your knowledge and consent?

I think I've heard of only one account that has been reinstated once its been banned.

I think you're out of luck on this one.
