Okay I find this absolutely ridiculous. I have had my account about a year i think with no problems. My CTR is terribly low and have had no problems with the account. I then get an email saying my account was affiliated with one previously banned therefore it is banned. I also had 200-300$ which was unpaid in my account and I think should have actually been paid a month ago. Google really seem to have screwed me over. Any chance to get an appeal?
I would guess that if what you say is true, you have an excellent chance of winning an appeal. On the letter that says you were banned, there be be instructions on how to appeal. Let them know that you feel they are incorrect and why. But before you appeal think long and hard about why Google may have made this "mistake" .. have you purchased any domains that may have previously had adsense? have you checked your stats from someone's house that was banned? If you've done anything like this explain it as clear as you can.. If you really did have another account that was previously banned, or somehow broke the rules then it's game-over. Otherwise, explain everything and you'll be fine... Probably.. You might have to send a few followup emails and be persistent though.. Please come back and post and let us know what happens.
What email or contact form should I use to get in contact with them? I used a support email and haven't received a reply.
Didnt the email that you got saying you were banned have instructions on how to appeal? If not, then the support email should be ok.. Do you have ANY idea why they may have made this mistake?
Do you have any idea with which banned account they are associating you with. Is there someone in your household who got banned or someone that has been using the same computer as you?
I also heard about the same problem. My friend's account was banned due to this thing. Google told that your account is affiliated with the previously unapproved application. My friend has tried a lot to reactivate his account. But unfortunately he was not able to do so :-(
