I am not sure if I have a domain that is banned or just slow indexing or what. But I have had the domain up and running for about a week and when I search xyz.com I get the responce xyz.com/ but then there is no description or anything like there should be. Am I just too impatient, or what is going on here? Thanks! P.S. I did search for a few pages for banned sites in dp and found adsense related sites only..
it takes time for google to indexed new sites. try getting a few more links from directories and wait again for another couple of weeks.. If you are in doubt that your site was previously banned by G, you can try the reinclusion request.. http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/reinclusion-request-howto/
No, probably not banned since the SERP provides a test link to it. However, it could have been penalized. It is not a brand new domain - been around quite awhile actually.
