Banned Domain with good backlinks

If you have a banned domain with good backlinks, what can be done to get the benefit of the backlink. I've tried several times to have the site reconsidered, but haven't heard back, so I'm wondering if a 301 redirect will work. Will the link juice pass now to the new domain?

    Any help would be appreciated.

If your domain is banned then it really makes no sense to try a 301, since the links pointing to the site might be the reason the site was banned. It's best to just start over and try to use better practices this time.

i believe the links weren't the problem, but duplicate content from the previous owner. The site is now offline, but the links didn't seem to be the problem. I wonder if it would ruin the new domain.

Banned domain will always give the fresh domain a bad impression if you link it to a banned domain.

301's will definitely not work. If the domain is banned, it is banned. Meaning, if google doesn't see the domain, it's not going to see the redirect. Consider it a loss, and focus on Bing, Yahoo, etc... There's no way around it if you don't get the reconsideration..

Wait for the site to get recovered first, a site do not get banned cause of duplicate contents. 301 won't work
