Banned Despite being a 5yr Old Publisher

As the title says: 'Banned' from Adsense.

I am a 5 yr old publisher. I had over 50 websites running only on Adsense.

Suddenly I receive a email saying banned for Invalid activity. I made a appeal explaining them that we never indulged in any invalid activities, but they refused the appeal too.

Trust me when I say no invalid activities. Also no warnings at all from G.

What's more: Lost about 1000$ in check, current balance of 500$.

Next thing I did was to switch over to Infolinks. Its been good I'd say, decent earnings but yes about 40-60% loss daily compared to adsense.

Decided not to use Adsense for about a year and improve our network further and then again apply via the same sites.

Can someone suggest some better (ad) alternatives for me?

My advice to fellow publishers would be; not put all eggs in one basket just like I did. Anyways the loss isn't too major for me as it encouraged to me work better toward my other businesses which in turn seems to be getting better with all the hard work I am pouring in.

    -----
I made this post just to remember the day when Big G #*#*#* me up!

I feel that G does it sometimes when the earnings increases. I would suggest you to make 4-5 accounts in all your family names and split it in a way that every account money is below 500$... then u will never see an issue.

It doesn't make sense, because when you're earnings increases, it makes more money for G too.
TO OP - Infolinks is the best alternative these days, that you're already using. Seriously though, this is really insane, to ban people for just nothing.

Yes, I was using adsense right from Mid 2005. Ban was surely shocking for me but not anymore, I have got over it.

Regarding Adbrite, Hows the payout any experience with it? I have a account with them but not used it I think after 2007.

I have noticed better clickrate for infolinks standalone v/s infolinks combined with other ad networks.

I am not to keen on the above method as I am a tax payer and run a company. I prefer to keep my income under my name.

The above method is easy till one is a college student and you don't have proper tax/wealth management in place.

Yup, I had never used it after mid 2009 now back using it again and finding it good.

It's pretty much the same with Adsense actually however you also have the option to change your default minimum check from $100 down to just $5 and payouts are given out 60 days after you've reached your minimum check.

S'funny, DigitalPoint was recently banned from Adsense thanks to third-party shennanigans, so says Shawn in his blog. I wonder if this is perhaps what has happened to a few people?

If you can get some good traffic, you can consider CPA Lead, you just need to encourage your visitors to complete short and fast surveys to unlock your content. Check my blog for more info..

If you are confident enough that you are innocent about that, you
can sue Google for that since they didn't respond to your appeal.
$1000 is a big money and shouldn't be taken for granted. That's the
best thing you can do now.

    Good luck! :)

Peon (to the forum) here..... It's my view that AdSense is getting more and more restrictive...but really ...it's not AdSense that is what got people addicted... it is the AdSense Business model.

I use the same business model as AdSense ..but without Google.... I display my ads just like AdSense... my click-thru is the same ... I make less per click... but I really make up for it with the assurance that I can build and build as much as I want... and not worry about AdSense bans.

You may disagree ..but it's the model that is effective. Use an AdSense Alternative ... so that your ads look just like AdSense.... and keep on trucking.

If you want to see an example of what I mean, PM me and I will show.

As You say ... never put all eggs in one basket.

I think one of the reasons could be the conversion rates from your Ads.
If the displayed Ads don't sell, then Google would classify your site as a threat to the Advertisers and Ban you-

Advertiser are not going to pay for Ads if they're not profiting them. So it make sense that Google wants QUALITY, not QUANTITY-..

5 year old publisher means nothing to google. they will ban any account for TOS violation as they see it. whether you violated the TOS or not, your account is responsible for the violation regardless of your action. DP adsense account is banned and this is also a very old adsense account generating decent revenue. if they dont bother to ban an account like DP, then they can ban anyone.

put as much data as you can and file an appeal. thats the best you can do

Another way would be to ad ADSHIELD to your account, so noone can maliciously click your links to get you banned.....
