Today i discover that google has decided that my site http://www.macgames.info doesn't not meet their guidelines. I have no idea why but i know for sure that 1) we write unique content every day for it 2 ) we don't do any seo at all ( no submissions, no buying links ) in fact we do absolutely nothing except writing unique content. 3 ) we don't have any advertising ( no adsense etc.. ) What is wrong with my site ?? I don't understand why it doesn't match google's guidelines. I think someone is doing negative seo practises with my sites ( this is the second one where i'm having problems ) What can you do when google doesn't want to believe that you are an honest webmaster ? Thank you, i'm so disgusted today i feel so depressed to see that honesty doesn't pay in this world... pat
If you were not engaged into any black hat practices than you must contact Google support and ask them to reconsider your site in there search results. i have just checked your site and its still sitting @ PR4 but surprisingly, not even a single page is indexed into Google that shows that the site has either been removed from the search results or was never been into the results. still, since its an old domain as per whois records (Created On:11-Oct-2005 10:08:42 UTC). your best bet would be to contact Google support (preferably through webmaster tools) and ask for reconsideration. Hope your site will be indexed again.
3. Duplicate Content or Websites If Google finds multiple web pages have the same content they may penalize each website for this. Of course, someone may have copied your content and Google banned you even though it was your original content that was taken. Make sure no other site is using your content. You can do this by performing a Google search using some of your text with quotation marks (") around it. If you do find someone is using your original copy visit here to learn more about copyright infringement: http://www.google.com/dmca.html. You can check here to see if your site has been duplicated unbeknowst to you: http://www.copyscape.com
Google can ban your site if you have used wrong keywords or you have created a link farm at the you page. Wrong on-page changes will surely ban your sites.
my condolences for getting into the Google customer harassment machine (tm). that can happen for lots of totally random reasons and is hard to predict or avoid if you run many sites. in your case it was probably either a lot of duplicate/spinned content, or perhaps some linkfarm-style scheme etc. if you really are sure that you did nothing wrong, try an appeal, make a wave, try to get PR and attention for your cause. this guy (who got all his Google accounts erroneously banned for alleged child porn - turned out a Google algorithm fail) did this recently with success: http://consumerist.com/2011/07/google-deletes-last-7-years-of-users-digital-life-shrugs.html
honestly i don't know what it could be, i sent a reconsideration, but if someone is doing black hat on my site, there is nothing i can do, it is a major flaw in the google algorythm, basically anyone can take down any site you want even if it's not theirs !!!!! I just aspire to a peaceful life in the country while blogging, and be able to buy my potatoes and meat at the end of the month I guess i'll give a shot at the PR thingie and try to create some buzz about that issue. Pat.
You mentioned that you write unique content but querying one line of your copy returned me multiple results check it: http://www.google.com/search?q=Soli...gc.r_pw.&fp=c8c7245972dc282d&biw=1366&bih=552
The two websites that were found during that search are using his feed. It's possible the owner set these up himself as they seem to scrape sites about mac games.
Yea, a website that does nothing but echo Rss feed of 1 site is vulnerable to google's SEO spam detection coz it leaves obvious digital footprint and algorithms can detect it.
It is just a rss that's reposted, i can't do anything about it, there are hundreds of sites like those.. The webmaster tools doesn't display the error "your site may not meet the google guideline" anymore i guess that's a good sign ? Pat.
Check out the email from Adsense, the readon was stated there By the way, write unique article don't mean anything, check out the Adsense tos, ge banned can be due to click activity, traffic source, illegal content, showing your Adsense status etc
