i got this message when i loggen into digg today: Whoops! BANNED They dont say anything about why i got banned, all i had there was 2 storys about a food and a proxy site is that illegal?
Post your story here. Did you have your URL in it, and you also tried to do some sellling??? Here's something interesting you might like.... http://www.wolf-howl.com/grayhat-seo/how-to-be-a-dirty-digger/ Read the comments from others who have been banned.
I just posted about this Here and have a theory about it having to do with the forum and trading diggs. I think i am a little right.
I've been banned 4 times now. They don't like adult dating articles but I like to promote them on digg. A conundrum.
How do you manage to get your article digg even after ban. Are u opening a new account? I think Digg will ban the url itself. How are you managing that. Could you please suggest it as I'm also on the same boat. I had one account and it was banned. Later on I managed to open a new account but found that the url itself is banned. So no question of further submissions.
I got banned for digging every story on every page for 5 hours straight. I dugg around 2000 stories every hour. In otherwords, i dugg 10000 stories without thinking...lol. ROb
Digg bans anybody who asks for diggs on this forum. They have been doing this for 18 months and yet people still do it.
I have had the Digg Me button on all the 15000+ pages on one of my sites. Most of those pages are user submitted. My url got banned in a week. I guess visitors been submitting their own post. I still can submit other urls though.
Are you serious ? I mean are they actually tracking all that stuff ? How can they possibly track so much i mean there are so many forums out there where people exchange digg they cant track all of them....how did u come to such conclusion ?
Nah it would be impossible for the to keep track on people trading diggs in every forum. The problem might be that if you are trying to get diggs from DP, you probably are doing other dirty tricks too and get banned in consequence.
The just look at the referrer details and apply an automated ban or bury the story. Its been going on for ages.
That sounds more possible than they going trough every forum. If they are using that method then that´s why people are getting banned.
The Refferer information is crucial for banning the url . Like DP is banned in Stumbleupon . I tried to stumble one thread but it said Banned. This is because most of the people might be stumbling it unusually . Same is the case with Digg as well.
When I stumble my post, it takes without giving any reason. But when I open my stumbleupon account, there are no favorites. My new posts are not there init. I don't understand this. Is this a ban?
