Cool it Guyz, I was kidding. I know what was Stuart talking about..
Rev share shows your ads 50% times when your thread is being shown.

Now what if the thread starter makes the thread then logs off then comes to thread as guest and starts refreshing and randomly clicking on the ads. Odds are 50% of his total clicks will go to his account. Wise man would use a proxy too...

PS: I am not saying that OP did anything like this, just explaining some facts :)

Shawn stated your own ads aren't served so you can't click on them.

mad - I can't get over you having 3000+ posts on DP and not using adsense much.

LOL. I don't agree with the principle really. I never click on ads and sooner or later everybody else will stop clicking on them as well.

Also there is far more money in other things.

That I agree with, but just so much harder perfecting. What's easier then just sticking a bit of code on a site. You big on adult sites or something... c'mon there's gotta be a reason ;)

I just don't understand why Google would spend the time to "re-evaluate" a user account but refuses to state a specific example of the violation and just saying "invalid clicks" or "unusual activity" - and I especially like how they say the money will be returned to the advertisers... but I find that hard to believe as well. My reimbursement rate on my Adwords account is extremely low.

Adsense just doesn't really seem quite right to me. If I have a site and advertisers are prepared to pay good money to take my readers away then the readers must be worth something if I can convert them myself. I work on sites that rake in millions every year by selling products, the same sites would probably earn $50 per day with adsense.

If you have 10,000 visitors per day with a 2% click rate and $0.5 per click thats $100 per day income. Pretty crap return if you ask me.
