Wow, this is crazy. My friend Mike F. was banned recently too! But he is not a DP participant. Sounds like chopping block time.

Webmaster, I'm in total agreement with you about finding it impossible to make 50 bucks from rev sharing. That is total bull.

3 months.. 6 months either way it's pretty sad if your not making at least $100 per month.

Why the fuck would I lie about this? I couldn't care less about my account getting banned. I am posting this thread because I care about other DP webmasters who use adsense and could get banned just like me.

There are plenty of other threads about people earning lots with the revenue sharing. fsmedia made $70 in one day I seem to remember.

My only explanation is that I have started several threads with over 10,000 page views. Nintendo earns a fair bit from his thread about th guy with billions of spam pages in google.

Obviously somebody may have click bombed me but the earnings were steady for a whole month with no real spikes so it seems unlikely.

Im going to have to go with the webmaster I think $58 in a month from DP forum is waaaay beyond reality, Ive only managed to make $0.01 from page impressions and 0.05 from 1 click.

The webmaster can you give me dominics adsense Id I think Im going to hand it over to him

Im not sure why Mad4 would lie as he has nothing to gain. For the record, if my DP rev share was on a seperate AdSense account I would still easily get a check every month so it is certainly feasible that Mad4 had $58 in 30 days. Also, he has a lot of high quality posts vs. some of the people that post purely for revenue and produce crappy GC threads that are earning them that coveted .02 a day.

I honestly think the fact that you never used the account for anything but rev share (never put it on the account you applied for) has something to do with it.

I suspect this is this may be the case as well. Whether Google will confirm is another matter.

Either way I rpedict 3 or 4 banned threads to be started, not because of the DP rev share question but because this is the time of the month for reviewing of accounts.

In that case, my sympathies with you...
You should have been careful about clicks you were getting in your account.

All the best with your appeal.

How can one be careful about it though? We have no control over what happens with the ads on this forum.

This is exactly why I said you need to be careful with participating in revenue sharing programs. It's hard enough walking the straight and narrow when running ads on our own sites with the fear of being banned for some unknown reason. Being in a revenue sharing program has the potential of opening a different can of worms.

I'm not saying revenue sharing is illegal but what if Google decides to start banning people who are apart of this scheme in the future? They may just start cleaning house without issuing any warning whatsoever!

Then we'll be sifting through all the "OMG, I've been banned!" threads.

Again, I wish you the best of luck! :)

Always thought Adsense was a bit risky and this has proved it. Quite happy to have lost the $58 as it is a valuable reminder to me of why I never used Adsense on my sites in the first place.
