If a user get banned then he should be given permission to join in a two or three days ...but not 2 or 3 months...coz due to giving him so much time will discourage him and he will go to any other forum....and also the I.P adress shouldn't be given preference for banning somebody becoz if the user is a student and he sign ins from a lab of college having dsl( dsl have same I.P address all the time ) connection ...then from the same I.P adress other student will also sign in ...so I.P adress shouldn't be given preference....What's ur openion

Don't know why but I am getting a feeling that you are a banned member of DP.

Do not post urls in messages. Make sure to use site urls as singature and you should not have problem unless your doing something you kno you should not be doing.

If you been banned for same ip adress as another user i know what you ean. Not sure how to fix it. Maybe some moderator will see post.

    Same here :D

But I kinda agree with the OPs point about the IPs. Infact, I started a sililar thread about a couple of months back when I was new here and Shawn replied that same IP is not a problem, but duplicate ID is ;)

I don't see the point why we should be merciful to law breakers. :D Rules are rules. They were here before they even joined DP.
