U.S's national debt is about $5.62 trillion. If Bill Gates wants to pay he debt by himself; he will finish it in less then 10 years. 4. He can donate $15 to everyone on earth and still be left with $5 million for his pocket money. 5. Michael Jordan is the highest paid athlete in the U.S. If he doesn't drink and eat, and keep his annual income at $30 million, he'll have to wait for 277 years to become as rich as Bill Gates is today. 6. If Bill Gates were a country, he will be the 37th richest country on earth. 7. If you change all of Bill Gate's money to $1 bills, you can make a road from earth to moon 14 times back and forth. But you will have to make that road non-stop for 1400 years, and use a total of 713 BOEING 747 planes to transport all the money. 8. Bill Gates will be 42 this year. If we assume that he still can live for another 35 years, he has to spend $6.78 million per day to finish his money before his death. 9. BUT!!! If we theMicrosoft Windows' users claim $1 for every time their computers hang because of Microsoft Windows, Bill Gates will go bankrupt in 3 years.
He must be paying loads of tax, but if compared to his earnings, that will NOT be a big pain for him. $250 per second, thats huge
Bet he's not paying anywhere near the proper amount of tax that he should be! Does anyone else think that one man having that kind of money is just obscene? I mean, I couldn't possibly keep that sort of money knowing there are so many people in the world so desperate for almost anything.
He doesn't keap he has a Humanity and Charity asociation invested 25 bilions on it He gives to charitys etc etc But he has a load of money
Well he donate lots of money to charity which makes him best pesron. He is earning $250/sec thats huge money.
I'm sure he still has and is making lots of money, but I don't know if he's still earning what he did back in 2002. Bill gets a bad 'rep' about a lot of things, but it's hard to debate the fact that he had a good idea even when others disagreed with him. - 640K ought to be enough for anybody
Not true, or can you show me some evidence? These numbers are all based on his net worth, NOT what he actually HAS.
Again you missed the fact that his donations went to charities he had founded. And donations to non profit organizations are tax deductible. So in the end he keeps the money one way or another.

start giving ubuntu (or my favorite kubuntu ) linux a try and you'll see how close he really is to going bankrupt, I hope he cashed out his microsoft shares because with dell selling computers loaded with ubuntu, vista being a flop, and the number of companies switching to linux (like the new york stock exchange) you can bet microsoft shares are going to start falling in a couple of years ), oh yeah and ubuntu can run fully loaded on less than half of what a basic vista instalation needs, (and with beryl and compiz you get a fully functional 3d desktop which makes vistas aero look 4 years old ) check it out http://www.ubuntu.com/
