I was just curious, i want to know what sort of interest you get from big sums of money in the bank, how often do you get the interest? Monthly? Daily? I really wouldn't have a clue, what sort of interest do UK banks give? Whats currently the best interest with which bank?

Say i had £1,000,000 in the bank for a month, how much interest do you think this will make? I haven't got a £1,000,00 in the bank, although i wish i did :p

So any sort of answers would be helpful.

    Thanks a lot,

    Jamie Hann.

The current interest rate in the U.S is 5.25% so if you have $1 million in the bank, you can yield $52,500 annually. Not sure about the UK though.

And just think, they say a million bucks is nothing these days, yet you could make over 50 grand in interest on it in a single year. Amazing. Absolutely amazing.
