here is the problem i am facing..but something unusual had happened yesterday... I have the PAN card issue like others exactly 2 weeks back..i was asked to send them the fax of the scan copy of pan card...I did it 12 days back...I was told to wait and wait...Then i reached them though ask twitter yesterday, as some member here suggested me...Now i see that the bank account has been removed from my account and asking for re-addition of it, whereas the pan card issue stands as it was before...I was told to upload bank account statement in resolution center for some name matching purpose...but i dont see any upload option....my name doesnt have a middle name ...Just first name and last name... I dont understand why they are making things more complex and delaying and not keeping their words.. The email i got from ask twitter goes like this.... As you know, PayPal recently attempted to verify your PAN using the PAN you provided, the name on your PayPal account and your date of birth. Our PAN verification system also requires that the name on your bank account match the name in your PAN data as well. Our system was unable to find a match using this information. Your name appears on PayPal as: First name: debashis Surname: dash If this is a situation where the name on file with your bank account doesn't match the name on file with PayPal and your PAN data, please contact your bank to ensure that your name is corrected or add another bank account with the correct name. Once you have checked to ensure your name is accurate with your bank; please re-add your bank account to restart our PAN verification process. Please allow 24 to 72 hours for our PAN verification process to complete. If the name on your bank account is accurate and matches the name on your PAN card and PayPal, please upload a copy of your bank statement in the resolution centre for review. I know this situation is frustrating and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us meet our regulatory obligations. I have asked PayPal before about the middle name issue but they told me they are not showing the middle name. But the middle name does in their database.
i added the bank account again and also asked them to enable file uploading option..They enabled it...I uploaded the bank account statement by downloading it from the Internet banking...Uploaded the pdf containing bank statement and pan card scan copy...then i got this email sent by the twitter support... "I have sent good news your way! Your account may say some confusing things when you log in; it's the email we sent that counts more. ^AM " Now i dont see anything like your account is limited...i just see the PAN card no is invalid after verification...which is the same old message...
Limitation Lifted....Thanks to the pal who suggested me Twitter support...they are really quick...But i still see the wrong pan card message
ignore the msg, i am also seeing it even after my a/c was restored, i am getting the payments smoothly and also the withdrawals are coming into my bank without any problem, i asked them about the msg, they said, its a technical glitch and their engineers are working to rectify it, till then ignore it.
