bank account name and paypal name problem

    Hi my dear DP friends,

    I have posted the same question twice before, got many replies but none of them was exact answer for my question...Here im repeating again...Its very urgent. that's y..I dont have any other ways to get my doubt clarified...

    For the first time Iam going to add my bank account details to my paypal account(premium account) to withdraw money. I've read that the name in paypal account and bank account must be exactly same..Otherwise the transaction does not takes place and they will deduct a service charge.My doubts are

    1) My paypal account name is Valentina g
    My bank account name is Mrs. VALENTINA G

    Can this 'additional Mrs.in bank account 'become a problem??? Also you may notice that in bank accout my name is given in capital letters.

    2) While adding my bank account details to paypal, my name changed from Valentina g to g Valentina just before the option confirm submiting bank details.Why does this happen? So actually my name reversed from Valentina g to g Valentina Which is different from Mrs. VALENTINA G in my bank account..Can this be a problem?

    3) Who is responsible for blocking withdrawal, for this slight name changes paypal or bank? My bank has said that they have no problems in transfering money due to his additional Mrs..

    Hope you will answer my doubts separately...

    There is anyway an solution or read the documentation at paypal.com ?

    There won't be any problem as far as I think.
    And if there is any doubt then don't transfer much amount. Just transfer minimum amount like $10 and see if it goes through or not.
    If it does then you can do big transfers.

    i think there is an option you change the name in paypal when your withdrawing money from paypal to bank account .. you will see a blue colored option like this " Change you name " change it

    In most of the cases the prefix [Mr./Mrs./Dr.] are automatically added by the bank while opening the account. If that's the case then you'll definitely have no problems but if it's added by you then add the prefix on your name on Paypal.

    If you don't have Mrs. on the bank account then don't use it on PayPal, make sure they are identical, middle initial etc.

    the best answer will be from paypal just make a call to them ask them can i add this name so that there wont be any issue

    if possible record the call of the futhure use

    This won't be a problem.
    My wife had the same issue and there was wire transfer from Paypal without any issues.

    Contacting paypal is the best option.I had a similar problem.I used the short form of my last name when I opened my paypal account.I contacted them and explained the situation and they changed it without any problems.

    Guys, what if my paypal name is [First Name Last Name],
    then my bank account name is [First Name Second Name Last Name].
    Will there be any problem in withdrawing?

    This is interesting.

    For me I think it'll not cause a problem, PayPal can not be that stupid can't they?
