Hey guys thanks for posting your experience with xoom.com. It is really heartening to know that you guys had a positive experience and recevied your money. I however have a few questions before I initiate my own transfer using xoom.

1) Could you guys please confirm that you transferred money from your paypal account?
2) And that you Indians and residing in India?
3) What verification documents were required, if any and how did xoom go about verifying.

Thanks for your time and best luck.

Answers
1) yes, I transferred from paypal to bank account via Xoom

2) I'm an Indian and I gave same name and address in both sender and recipient. Fortunately my order was processed..

3)They say that they'll verify by making a call, but I have not recieved any.. and If you want to transact more than 2999$ per month then you need to submit address proof(not sure)

Regards.
