    Please provide further details of the script. Getting it to refresh isn't hard but what exactly is the script.

    I dont think that would actually waste any BW because the content wouldn't have time to load.
    It would maybe if it was just text, but if your loading a page with just text on your gonna have to refresh millions of times. This would probably lock up your browser to if it is an addon.

    I will be able to code this php/ajax on server as long as you have fopen remote url or curl enabled on your hosting account. How much are you paying?

    All he is going to do is make a page that opens up several XHRs to make AJAX calls to the remote site. PHP isn't really necessary though it can be useful to get around security measures against using remote URLs in those AJAX calls.
