Hey DP I have a bandwidth of 250,000 MB available for a proxy website. What kind of traffic could this handle? Thanks
well, depends of what u r doing... just an example : just 3 years ago in my country , we were having 1024 mb bw, and it was just enough for a normal forum ... now u can compare ... 250.000 mb data ... and it s enough if u don t ve high traffic.
I found this article: http://www.julies.net/network/bandwidth.html This should answer some of your questions.
Your site can handle HEAVY traffic. How large is your website? 100 MB? 200 MB? Suppose your website or forum has 10,000 pages and has a size of 1000 MB. Imagine each user will visit 10 pages, equivalent to 1 MB. Then, your site will be able to support 1 x 2,50,000 = 2,50,000 visitors per month...
