Yandex is a Russian search engine so it is possible that the site was crawled by their bots and they ate so much of the bandwidth.

Well, if you do not get any traffic to speak of from Yandex, there's no need to give away your bandwidth. They could have been crawling your website but with 13GB of data I don't find that very likely. Most probably they or someone using their system, is hotlinking your files.

This way they can display your images, in this case wall papers, on their own site and making money off advertising, while you supply the storage and the bandwidth. Lots of scammy Chinese, Russain and Indian developers are using this system to steal from us that have.

You should insert a few rows in your .htaccess file to stop this behaviour and protect your images. If they want them, they have to come to your site. Contact me for more info.
