Bandwidth is getting over

    My site's bandwidth is getting over very fast besides visiotors are not that much....

    When i checked the access logs i found lot of lines as follows

    74.208.9.38 - - [27/Mar/2009:03:13:11 +0530] "GET /links HTTP/1.1" 200 3975 "-" "-"

    i found the site running on this IP is arabelove.com

    Does it consuming bandwidth

    What's your current bandwidth?

    Also, what's your current traffic look like? (Visitors, page views, etc...)

    2 gb.This bandwidth is enough becaue visitors are very less around 100 perday .It has been enough....

    Is there any possibility that some one is consuming the bandwidth and how?

    use robots.txt to block search spiders that you do not want.
    Many of them can use a hell of a lot per month yet give little to no benefit.

    There is often little point usually letting anything other than google, yahoo, msn, ask, crawl your site, especially when you only have 2Gb available, as 2Gb is such a low amount when using a CMS such as Joomla.

    As i told you my access log has been full of the get request from the IP74.208.9.38.

    So i asked my hosting team to add this IP to block from firewall..

    And now Problem is over my access logs are clean.....:)
