First of all, excuse my ignorance.

I just received my bandwidth invoice from my hosting provider and trying to figure out if I'm getting a fair deal. I am billed by my average monthly usage metered at 95%.

My average usage for the month billed at the 95th percentile was 4.04 Mbps and my invoice was for $1,616.00.

First, how does that translate into total usage for the month measured in Gigs.

Second, am I getting a fair rate?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    rbfallon

Seems quite high, but that depends on the hardware used and the level of service really.

there are some that would charge maybe $200/m for this, and others that would charge $3K/m. Let us know what level of service you are getting.
