Bandwidth analysis?

    Hi,

Our bandwidth has risen hugely in the last few months. I was wondering what the best ways would be to analyse the usage? For example what files being downloaded are using the most b\w etc?

We run windows server 2003 with IIS6.

    Thanks

Do you have any kind of control panel software installed on the server? If you do it will probably have some statistics software built in.

Otherwise you'll be looking at finding some software to analyse your server's log files.

Some examples are analog (very basic) and awstats but there are many others.

I find Google analytics really good but that won't help you with anything that happened in the past.

No CPanel or anything its a dedicated windows server... I have access to the raw logs - maybe a free log analyser would be best? Any tips?

    Cheers
