Band Of The Week Music very customized with rev

I have decided to finally sell Band Of The Week .com, URL is in my signature! Here are some stats:

887 Members signed up on main music site & forum

Myspace page with over 11,300 friends , all Band or Music Fans

The site has been running for 15 weeks (15 Band Of The Week winners)

Premium memberships are available for members to be displayed on the front page, accepts paypal payments very easily. I have not pushed this very much and currently have 3 members on subscription, one pays for it and the other are on free trials. Those I am charging $4.95 per month

Site includes a Jamroom License for unlimited members, with power pack and payment pack ($180 to buy license), and forum has a Owned Vbulletin License.

Music site and Forum are both PR3, with a lot of directory submissions and backlink work being done by me.

Heres the revenue breakdown for this month... I must admit I am not very good at monetizing sites I think someone with the right knowledge on that could do much better:

As you can see we get a lot of hits, and show up pretty high on google for free band promotion, and keywords of the like.


I realize revenues are small for the site, but I am not looking for 10-12 months revenue only since there are many other potentials for making money on this site.

The design of the site is completely 100% done by me, graphics, logos, etc. Custom script work has gone into making adding band of the week winners very easy.

Monthly costs to run is about $5 in hosting from godaddy.

Has a very powerful admin backend that manages payments, members, etc.

Very unique domain name (sitewide PR3) that is easy to remember and has potential to be very big.

Very large myspace account, now that bots are pretty useless it is hard to build up accounts that big!!

Why is your adsense with 0 clicks and 7.00$? and all of your adsense came on 1 day? or am i reading this wrong?

The revenues you are looking at is auction ads, which is actually not based on clicks but based on winning bids commission and/or signups to ebay. This just means that a previous click resulted in a winning bid or a signup, and paid out on that day. Make sense?

this last month has been the lowest traffic out of all the months here is the monthly break down since the site has been started:

i can account for the decrease in traffic for my lack of free time in trying to promote the site more... i know its potential and someone that has a little more time than me could really make this site boom

i have owned it for a while, got everything running and started and its been up for 15 weeks, i bought it from another dp member a while ago, it used to be a forum and i converted it and started fresh with zero members and built it back up..

 

Nice site. How much time do you need to use to run it? To set up charts and so on.

 

thank you, the charts and everything gets updated automatically, the only time i spent was promoting the site, maybe 10-20 min per day on myspace, emails, etc.

The only thing that needs to be done each week is adding the winner which is just a click button and your done!! i bet someone could set up a chron job (my hosting doesnt support it) to have that run automatically also.

wavetunes doesnt have even close to the amount of members this site has, and is completely stock besides the logo. I have had custom scripts coded and installed to make an actual band of the week contest work, it also records each winner automatically and gives it a page.
