Band Logo - $30

Hi,

Starting up a band as a project and we need a logo. I have had different ideas about what it should look like, so I am allowing some flexibility as to the style you wish to choose.

The band name is DrainBramage so you can get some inspiration off the name.

I have no specific size requirements, but it should be big enough to be seen on a small poster.

The band plays rock, so the design should show that in some way.

The contest ends when I find a suitable logo.

I will be giving feedback as the entries come in, so that you can see what I like.

As I say, the prize money is $30 and I reserve the right to not pick a design if I feel that there is not one that fits my needs.

If possible, it would be nice to have something to show to the band tomorrow morning, (approx 10 hrs from now) whether it be the winning design or not.

Wouldn't DrainBamage or DainBramage be more suitable? Because I understand how you switched the front letters of both words but if you haven't noticed, you have an extra R. So, it looks like you're trying to say: "BrainDramage"

Just my two cents. : )

EDIT: Unless there's some second meaning that I don't know about (just like Tropica noted).

 

Thanks for responses, I did think of DrainBamage and DainBramage, but they didn't sound as catchy as DrainBramage.

Tropica, I did indeed see the name off a radio or something, but I shouldnt think this band will grow beyond a group of teens bashing drums so theres no issue there

 

I thought I would give this a try, who knows you may want to go for a simple style logo

Forgot to mention, Payment via Paypal only. And, just looking through previous logo competitions, it would be wise for me to say that you get bonus points for including some image, or effect, rather than just a nice font.

Wow, thanks tropica for early entry!

I will reffer to them as 1,2,3,4 going down the entries.

1. Nice idea, but this isn't an american band, otherwise nice font .

2. Can't agree with that gradient really, again nice font.

3. Very Nice! Simple and effective technique

4. Nice graphic, and it suits the font very well.

Well done, leaves me stuck between 3 & 4 as to the best one.

thanks for the feedback, the first two are just a few variations, if you like i can try something else with the font from 1&2, maybe with the screw or something?
