    Personally Im a British National, but I have lived for 25 years in other countries, and speak two other languages fluenty, written and spoken.

    While its true that most british/americans dont speak multiple languages, dont generalise us all ;)

    Seriously! I hate being underestimated. I myself am American but speak perfect Spanish and can also communicate in American Sign Language -- oh, and I could get a conversation going in Italian, too.

    My view remains the same :rolleyes:

    Hey! Watch out. Next people might say this is a US based forum and you should only write in US English.

    Generalise -> Generalize
    Colour - > Color.
    Catalogue -> catalog :)

    p.s: There are some spelling mistakes in your post. Correct them ASAP before someone asks you to do.
