mail.ru? That's a free russian webmail provider, why ban it?

 

Spambots use it a lot.

 

hmmmm not very wise banning web.de it is one of the most popular free mail providers in Germany.
I wouldn't recommend it if you have a lot of german connections.

do you mean if there has been taking any legal actions against small spammers?

 

Yea I have seen some articles on people at like aol stealing like 40+ million emails and getting arrested for that but what about the little infractions for like maybe a thousand haha

 

All my spammers register with mail.ru

 

well i am curious on the laws. I guess it would have to do with what state or say country you are in..?

 

yes, i accually dont know if anyone ever got the law banging on there door after they did forum spam!.. but that is a good question. i will try to find out

okay, spam i general... yes, there has been serval arrests of spammers - but this has been the more normal spammer, the e-mail ect

Laws are strong enough depends how u treat the spammer.

 

I had lots of mail.ru registers. That was probably the biggest source of all the spambots I had.

 

hope the corp.mail.ru get there act togheter to fix this massive problem, a shame a big company like that dont do enough to correct the code and security.
Or enough!.

 

Wow. That's a long list. You may get some legitimate email from some of those.

 

All of those emails were banned from spambot signups. I doubt you'll get many if any legit signups from those email addresses.
