Ban fromCraigslist

I been using Craigslist for a little over a month now and having success with it.

However, I do get *some* of my ads flagged and deleted sometime by mostly users.

It is possible to get ban if you get way too many deleted ads? I would be so sad if I ever get ban from Craigslist, it really is the best way to get traffic and make money :p

You can get banned if your posts are spammy and flagged many times..!!
Are you using some kind of autoposter tool?

Nope, I only post 5-10 ads per day manually. I think it is too risky using Those tools.

If you do get banned you could always switch computers or use a proxy

Craigslist is a great tool, remember if it sounds like advertising then people will think its spam.

It's not always fair... So just keep an eye on things.

Yes, too many flagged and removed posts will ban you. Even worse, they ask Google to ban your site...

In that case, you are safe.
If you flood their system with spam, they will eventually block your IP.

Can someone point me to an article or other proof that describes how CL can get you banned from Google search results? This is complete news to me and I am having trouble understanding it because CL is owned by eBay and I cannot imagine ebay and Google working together on much of anything.

I have no proof. But I was using CL extensively for one site. I got flagged and stuff quite a lot. But it worked for a couple of month, posting everyday. One day, the same day, the URL could not appear on CL anymore and vanished from G, Y, and other SE. Coincidence? From all SE?...maybe not...

Wow, that is pretty weird. I now wonder if there some sort of banned sites master list out there that CL might be posting to????

    thats bogus...

and to answer your question, craigslist bans email addresses if they receive 10+ flagged postings related to that email address...

Usually they'll give you a temporary, like 24 hour, ban on your email address for overuse, even if just replying to listings and not posting any. Too many of those, though, and you're looking at other bans.
