Recently I've been exploring the option of adding content to domains I'm planning to flip, and while I'm planning to avoid using Associated Content or Helium articles as much as possible, I wanted to ask from a writers perspective, is it better to have more content on a site and sacrifice quality (e.g. have unique content solely for my site along with some AC/Helium articles I've gotten permission for) or would I be better with quality content but keep the site on a smaller scale. My main objective is to have users view the site as a resource along with news source so we'll have reference articles, along with a blog -- we'll also have ads being run in the sidebars and similar sections but I'm trying to keep those non-intrusive. Thinking from my perspective, I want to have quality only, as nothing turns me off more than seeing a spam site, but than again I'm speaking from a very tech savvy view, so I'm not sure if the average user would care. Any input on this is welcome and greatly appreciated.
In my experience only posting unique content is the way to go. I think most of us find that replicating content(from anywhere really) causes spikes in bounce rates that isn't worth the extra pages you get from it. That being said, without knowing the niche or the amount of content you've created yourself it really is impossible to say.
that largely depends on what you intend to do with the site. if you just wanna make some quick bucks you can take a the duplicate content route. otherwise nothing would serve better then unique content.
you can just post some unique content to your websites and blog...............don't use bulk copied content...............
if you insist on using bulk content, use it to track analytics and get keyword data on what lands people on your pages. keep track of what your post popular posts are, then re-write them using your keyword data, seo experience, and unique content ideas. place these most popular posts in a prominent place on your blog's homepage.
