    Bakeshop website review

It's not a modern website because I want to learn about the CSS structures from the basics.

You should give us non hyperlinked url of your site... Check your message - it's only site name, no url.

1 & 3 - Header & Footer background should be sitewide. See below how it looks on my 1920x monitor
2 - Maybe you should add some background to drop-down sub-menus, I can hardly read the menu :(
One more - the slider :) I found out that it is a slider actually viewing the sourcecode. Make it automated...

Is there any way that I could view any desktop resolution because mine is just not a sidewide screen though, and how can I fix if it is a wide resolution monitor.

I assume, your header&footer images are aligned left. Change (or add) alignment to "center" in your css. It wount make them sitewide, but at least it will fix the "wide screen" issue.
This article might be of use: http://www.cssgirl.com/resources/20...footer-with-centered-content-revisited-again/
Sorry, but i'm not a css coder, so I can't tell you exactly what to do :( Try to search some solutions in google+youtube.
    Good luck!

Are you a jQuery coder? I just want to be a CSS developer, could that be possible?

    Focus more on CSS.
