Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) chief has been killed in a CIA missile strike and his body buried, three Pakistani intelligence officials said on Friday. But one of the three said no intelligence agent had actually seen the remains. The officials said Mehsud was killed in Wednesday’s missile attack on the home of his father-in-law and that his body was buried in the village of Nardusai in South Waziristan, not far from the site of the missile strike. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly. One official said he had seen a classified intelligence report stating Mehsud was dead and buried, but agents had not seen the body as the area was under Taliban control. Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik said he could not confirm Mehsud’s death, but that information pointed in that direction. “There is no confirmation to his death as far as the evidence is concerned. I repeat again, yes, the information is pouring from that area that he is dead,†Malik told reporters outside Parliament. The minister urged Mehsud’s associates to abandon their leaders and to “serve Islam in true meaning and serve Pakistan as this country has given them refuge.†Malik said no Pakistani military operation was going on in South Waziristan, and that only selective targets were being hit. Mehsud, however, was believed to have been killed in an American strike, the intelligence officials said. Baitullah Mehsud Dead
I don't know much about him but I must say that his hairstyle is so cool.... . I wish I could have such.
They believe he was involved in the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, the suicide attack at the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad and Peshawar’s Pearl Continental Hotel, attack on a Pakistani police academy, murder of Dr. Sarfraz Naeemi, suicide attacks on two mosques in Nowshera and Lahore, and this is probably not a complete list. Mehsud also had made the statement, "Soon we will launch an attack in Washington that will amaze everyone in the world." They will want to confirm if it's actually him, I would assume that they will be digging him up as soon as possible. Yeah, he did have nice hair.
Well for some Pakistanis he was a hero and for some he was terrorist Actually the problem is that when ever any thing wrong happened in the world specially in Pakistan Gov every time blamed that this is done by this guy.. even USA said thi many time that he is danger and thats why USA army killing so many people just because of this guy. USA first said that this guy found as dead but in evening i read on TV that White house still confuse about his death.. Actually USA make a blunder to said that he is dead.. coz one the name of this Guy USA army was killing citizens of Pakistan (dont know why) now see what happened next, what will they say when they kill Pakistani coz now there is no terrorist leader in Pakistan (he is dead according to USA)
You're incorrect. Actually it's the Taliban confirming that he's dead and buried. Pakistani officials say it's likely, and US government is saying it's still unconfirmed. We need to identify the body to know for certain.
i too never heard of him too! yeah if he was good (bless his soul) if he was bad ( i wish he rotten in hell)
PESHAWAR: The spokesman of Tahreek-e-Taliban and close relative of Baitullah Mehsud has denied the reports of killing of Baitullah Mehsud and claimed that he is alive. Talking to an Arabic Television, Hakeemullah said Baitullah is alive and continuing to lead the Tehreek. A videotape will be released soon as a proof of this statement, he added. Hakeemullah said Baitullah has gone into hiding as part of a strategy and he is not in contact with anyone after the drone attack. Replying to question about Baitullah Mehsud’s presence in his father-in-law’s house, Hakeemullah said staying at in-laws house is against Pushtoon tradition and that Baitullah was not there at the time of the drone strike. He said meetings of Majlis-e-Shura of Tahreek-e-Taliban are part of the Tehreek’s routine. Source (NO.1 news channel of Pakistan): http://geo.tv/8-8-2009/47282.htm

yea the hairstyle is good, and I think I don't have hate to him,he just defending there country,if he die, that is Good die, hope someday my death could be remembered like him
The Taliban is a cancer. Let's not conflate defending one's country with whipping a woman for daring to walk on a street alone; with shooting a woman like a dog, in a stadium before 1000's of other cheering, gutless men; with doing whatever can be done to prevent women from reading and writing - because god knows, to educate a woman is a threat, to men who have no power intrinsically, as they're a bunch of gutless, moronic pricks.
