Baidu Search Engine. Is it important?

I have a website that crawling by Baidu Bot every day and it has been a month. It tooks about 200-300mb bandwidth perday. But when i tried to search my page indexed in baidu (site:myweb.com), there's only 3 pages indexed. Should i ban Baidu bot spider? or maybe it took more times to get indexed?

 

I've seen nothing but hype with baidu

Yes, Baidu is the dominating search engine in China, you could get some decent traffic from there.

Actually, I've increased the number of visitors from China, among other non-primarily-English-speaking countries.

With that, I've also received some backlinks, assuming they liked the content.

I have few blogs which are indeed by Baidu because I publish few topic related to china and got some traffic also . I think everything is fine if it can give us quality traffic .

 

If the China market is a target for you, Baidu is important I think. It is basically a Chinese language clone of Google.
