This is also great search engine. It has lot traffic.

 

I can't seem to get listed on Baidu

 

Baidu..i found this site on top alexa rank..

 

Do you have Chinese language pages? If not, no reason to get listed.

 

If Baidu walks side by side with Google in near future I wouldn't be surprised.

If I am not mistaken, google owns some of baidu, yahoo owns some of alibaba

 

The most popular search engine in China .
Most of chinese are accustomed to use it.
And the baidu company is about to take up
the Janpan search engine market...

 

Yahoo owns 40% of alibaba,google does not have any of baidu

Do you have any Chinese domains or Chinese language content? If not, that would explain things.

 

I think it works the same way, add url to baidu and also some China/Chinese web directories

Basicly, fill in the url and retype 'I am human"

 

Baidu is what google is trying to beat since long time. Its the only company who has competed google. Never indexed my site though. let me submit my site to it now

 

no, google donsn't have any of Baidu,

and also, don't use Pagerank or someother techs of Google on Baidu.com, Baidu is a great SE in China, using his own techs!

and Alibaba has buy yahoo.cn in China, Alibaba is the biggest B2B site in China!

 

Google has sold its stake in Baidu.
Yahoo is basically worthless in China now, less than 2% of market share.
