Baidu is HUGE is China as "ReadyToGo" has already said, it is what Google is elsewhere.

Has anyone ever got a page indexed in it though? If I remember correctly I *think* I tried submitting one of my sites to it as an experiment but nothing has happened as of yet.

If you want to heard about Baidu, check your website's logs.

Baidu is actively indexing all websites on the net since awhile.

I first came across them when I was on Alexa.com. It's obviously insanely popular outside the US. Watch it one day be like the most visited website in the world.
