Hi bbott, We have done about 20000+ submissions in last 3 months, please find out more details abt our service at http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=47623 thanks, Tony
I submitted to all the noncost and nonlogin directories on that list the other day, I'm wondering when I'll start seeing results if any. That was a boring day.
Takes weeks/months to see results. Site has to be accepted then the directory has to be spidered. After this happens enough times you will start seeing some results in MSN. 3-6 Months or so later you will start seeing some results with Google.
I've started to see SOME results, not many, but hey, its only been 6 days Before submitting: .Backlinks (Page): 44 || Backlinks (Domain): 85 || PR: 2 6 days after: .Backlinks (Page): 62 || Backlinks (Domain): 87 || PR: 2 I've also now got a "Yahoo Rank" of 16, and a "allinanchor Rank" of 4 (what ever the hell that is?) So im starting to see somthing atleast - i've submited to about 600, so im still hoping to see some more in the future lol. @ cityit -- i have already submited to 600, but im well up for your $40 service for another 400 -- the thing is, it says on your site, that if you come across one the site is already in, you skip it, how many do you have???
Be aware that there is a lot a debate as to whether it is a good idea to submit to huge amounts of directories at one time. From my experience, if you submit to too many this can delay your rise in the serps. I don't think there is any penalty (ban) besides the delay, unless you are using some of the link buying methods. You will hear people quote Matt saying there is nothing a person can do to affect another site. On the otherhand Google has stated that it consideres a unreasonable high spike in new link (with out a valid reason, like a news article) could be considered spamming Google. Personally, I would wait a while before adding the next set.
