My Sys config Intel Quad core q6600 2.4ghz Ram-2gb 800ghz MB-intel S975xbx2 Gforce 8400gt.. Hd - Seagate 250gb sata I bought this sys on jan 2008 ...It was running perfect till May Month .. Then i got bad sector problems , due to this my system process got slowed.. So i thought of replacing my HD ..Got replaced from seagate..They gave repaired Hd , i thought they will provide New piece. .I have been using this repaired one for 10 days , then again my Hd got affected by bad sectors.. then replaced it once again......it was running perfect for 20 days ....then today morning , my sys scan intimated that i got 4kb bad sector ... I dont know Whats wrong with my Sys ...How come i get bad sector problem very soon ......... Sorry for long info ...... can anyone suggest whats wrong with my sys....? Is there any preventive measures......
simple ur hdd is screwed.. patching up wont solve the problem.... get an abs new hdd... tell them ur problem nd dey will replace it... very nice staff at seagate...
