bad one way links will not cause trouble

    wanted to ask about the one way links.

    Its well known fact that doing a link exchange with bad sites will cause troubles.

    but Will getting one way links from bad websites bring in any trouble ?

    I do not think that we have control over others and if a spammy website links to mine, Search engines shouldnt penalise me as i have no control over that bad guy :confused:

    If the above thing is true, then one can escape getting links from any sort of websites under the rule that they are linking to us as we havent asked them. Although, one may ask them to do a three way link exchange.

    what are your thoughts :rolleyes:

    Bad one way links can't make you trouble.

    Because then I can make very bad site in google eyes, and link to some sites that I hate .

    so this means, once can carry on with bulk links from all sort of websites

    what kind of links you have on your page affects your site's repuataion but it doesn't work other way round. So don't worry about some crap site linking to your page

    That is what I thought as well. G shouldn't penalize you for a bad 1 way link. If they do, which none of us really know for sure, then it is a scary proposition.

    i dont worry abt crappy site linking to mine, but am thinking to experiment by getting links from all sort of websites to my site, just to have lots and lots of links in order to generate good amount of SEO effect and also traffic from link referals

    There is no need to experiment. The result shows a list of high PR links page found at Link Exchange, where many members choose to exchange links from different categories, and these do not have to be one-way links. All of those links pages started at PR0 1 to 3 months ago.
