Ok, obviously no one wants to give up what their good niches are but lets try to list some completely bad and oversaturated niches so we don't end up wasting our time in them. I'm gonna go with...Ipod, computers, probably anything weight or exercise related... right path? Anyone else?
if you are talking expensive for ppc or competitive then you could add credit cards, mortgages, forex, travel, hosting, shoes and I think that several hundred BANS users have cornered the luxury car market!
does it occur to anyone that the 'oversaturated' niches are typically the ones where the money is? and i'm not talking $1k a day type money, $5k, $10k a day. so you should be mindful what niches are "bad". other then that i don't know why i'm posting in a CJ forum, i hate CJ. back to azoogle.
Not sure about BANs, but in terms of Adsense, that would be: Pro-Wrestling, WWE. The lowest paying niche in the history of niches. Never seen a click over 20 cents in a year (or so it seems that way) And the demographic who searches this stuff out seems to have no money whatsoever so affiliate programs won't help. But hey, if you want high traffic and keywords that you can easily obtain in the SERPs, Pro Wrestling is it.
Unfortunately, most people confuse "oversaturated" with "highly competitive." They aren't the same. One means that you have a lot of competition, because there's a lot of money to be made. The other means that the money is practically dried up and many are fighting for the crumbs. And not to nitpick, but travel isn't a niche, it's an industry.
Make money online blogs are big right now. I think its reaching a saturation point. So many suspicious "13 year old bloggers" popping up LOL
there's a lot of competition in the make money online market - but with credit card debt rising per capita and the economy the way it is - there's not really a BOTTOM to the make money online market. If you have the right advertisers, and generate the right leads - and capitalize on sub-niches... there's money to be made. It's the make free money from nothing industry - why not get in on that? : )
I contest that there is few bad niche's - they all just need to be pushed in front of the right people...unless your aiming at people that use ebay 1 time every 3 years.
